Official google.org Blog: Celebrating Earth Day
Dear Mr. Weihl:
My company is close to commercializing its high efficiency, inexpensive, multifuel, scalable turbine (“RET”, working name) for Gensets, and vehicle and marine propulsion. The ROI for RET applications is in cases 1 year. For a 24x7 CHP Natural Gas Genset it would be 3 or less years for residential and commercial dwelling units/ facilities, without government largess. RETs will steeply reduce the cost of energy (residential and commercial), and vehicles/ transportation costs. They present a viable distributed, off-grid (co) generation solution. RETs can sever US dependence on foreign oil, with a projected 90% carnot efficiency. Fuels can be Renewable or fossil, or hybidized. There are some inexpensive, non-food, novel biomass formulations without using enzymes derived from byproducts such as bagasse. If the energy stock (eg., heated working fluid from geothermal {RETs can ingest raw steam as well}, hydrothermal or solar thermal) is external, a RET Powerblock will generate more power, at less cost than all competitors (e.g., Stirling Engines). RET can be inexpensively fueled by perrenial biomass
RET can be inexpensively fueled by perennial biomass and biowaste to create energy self sufficient regions in both the developing and developed nations
RET cost/kWh will be less than from the Grid, whether the power is generated by fossil (coal, gas), hydro or nuclear.
RET turbines require no outsourcing to mass manufacture. A small “personal-ish” size model will cost that of bicycles, and we believe can be the next stage to MicroEconomics, being able to power commerce, and GDP generating machinery. We have a number of affiliates in the US and abroad are working with us to establish early adopter pre-sales, and distribution channels. This technology should maintain a US HQ. I am convinced that a Google – Green Suite of RET Energy Applications would generate revenue flows and recognition. I look forward to your positive response. Hi Efficiency, inexpensive Air/Green Power Engines Made in the USA.
My company is in a preproduction prototype stage with a suite of high efficiency low cost renewable energy / energy efficiency IP, a core of which is built around a novel hi efficiency inexpensive powerblock, “RET”. We have a backlog of 1,500 or so units for RET powered gensets, our primary focus. We also realize that our RET powerblock in an automobile powered by compressed gas as a working fluid, would be considerably more efficient than what we have analyzed. RET has successfully completed 3D virtual simulations, exact mathematics on its geometry and operation, POC of fundamental principles – from its CAD take-off, knowing materials, machining requirements, surface area/ volume, seals, bearings, components etc., substantiates the considerably less expensive statements. Would be interested in manufacturing RETs in the USA, for USA sales. JR CEO, SPI, Inc, USA. Jriam1945@aol.com
